The Fort William Satellite Club had its inaugural meeting on September 12, 2011 with 7 new members joining the Rotary Club of Thunder Bay (Fort William) on August 31, 2011.

The new club members have had numerous experiences with Rotary, including Group Study Exchange, International Projects, and many local community projects.  They are actively recruiting new members, volunteering with community and club projects, and developing projects of their own.
