The Dragon Boat weekend was a time of fun, fellowship and food. After the opening ceremonies there was a beef and beer at Solade’s house. The next day was the races themselves. Our team, Rotary Dragon Slayers, came in second in their first two races and first in their last race, resulting in a win in their division. |

2008 Food Drive for Shelter House |

Each Rotary club was partnered with an A&P store to collect food for Shelter House. Fort William Rotary was at the one at the corner of Arther and Edward. We provided the public with a list of things that were needed before they started shopping and they dropped their donations off after they had purchased them. It was very successful. |
