Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) isn’t your average leadership camp. RYLA is designed to give high school students hands-on active learning activities and sessions to build on their own leadership skills. Held on the University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) campus, RYLA 5580 encourages youth to explore their own strengths and develop their own style of leadership.
There is no cost to you for attending RYLA 5580. All of the fees for each camper are sponsored by individual Rotary Clubs and all necessary supplies will be provided.

- High schoolers in Rotary District 5580 who portray leadership qualities
- Students entering their senior year (preferably) or junior year of high school
- Individuals actively involved in school activities, including: athletics, fine arts, academic clubs, and student government
- Individuals with volunteer and/or work experience
- Students with good academic records
