George Jeffrey Children's Foundation and Centre are celebrating Fort William Rotary Club's generosity that is bringing significant enhancements to services at George Jeffrey Children's Centre.

As part of their support, the Fort William Rotary Club has funded a utility van that will be used for getting trial equipment to children's homes and schools, as well as for transporting equipment for the centre's children's recreation programs including sledge hockey, fishing, kayaking, bicycling and other outdoor programming.
"In my 20 years working at George Jeffrey Children's Centre, we have never had a vehicle of this calibre," said Kim Sjolund, seating and mobility technician. "It's a pleasure to drive our new utility van, which is roomy and will serve all our needs transporting special needs equipment.

"Fort William Rotary is committed to supporting the unique needs of the community," said Stephen Margarit, Fort William Rotary Club President. "We are pleased to support the purchase of this new van which will provide a significant impact on clients for years to come," said Margarit.

Fort William Rotary would like to congratulate the George Jeffrey Children's Centre on the new van and thank them for our continued partnership. Fort William Rotarians are here to make an impact and hope to make a differnce for children with special needs in our community.
